Sumairaa Kazi is a Glasgow-based short film producer with a passion for empowering impactful storytelling that showcases the nuances of human connection. Over the last five years, she has worked as a campaigner and researcher, gaining valuable experience in community engagement, social justice, and advocacy.

This hands-on experience has shaped Sumairaa's approach to storytelling and project coordination, with a strong commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and highlighting bold stories.

Sumairaa is passionate about producing both scripted and documentary films that are emotionally resonant. She is keen to contribute creatively to projects by providing research, generating compelling story ideas, and offering thoughtful script notes to support and enhance the development stage.

Sumairaa is currently working on her newest project, Push, a short drama commissioned by GMACs Little Pictures.
