SQIFF 2021 takes place 6th to 10th October in Glasgow and we are offering a £1000 commission for someone to create the artwork to appear on our print marketing materials and merchandise this year.
To be eligible you must be based in Scotland and have lived experience of LGBTQIA+ issues. You will preferably have some experience of working with artwork for print but this isn’t essential. We can consider all ideas which fit SQIFF’s image and ethos and any media. Click here to get an idea of previous artwork we have commissioned. Artists previously commissioned include Asten Holmes-Elliott, Garry Mac, Hannah Moitt, Susie McConnell (Firebrat), Saffa Khan, and Klarissa B Webster.
Send your pitches to info[at]sqiff.org outlining your idea and a little bit about your background as an artist.
The deadline for sending your pitch is Wednesday 4th August at 5pm. The chosen artist will then work towards a completion deadline of Wednesday 1st September.
