We are very pleased that the Centre for Gender and Feminist Studies at Stirling University is generously donating a prize of £300 for Best Feminist Short Film at SQIFF 2015 as voted for by the audience. The Centre is for interdisciplinary research bringing together gender-focused scholars and runs MSc and MLitt programmes in Gender Studies as well as a range of events showcasing feminist research.
SQIFF encourages LGBTIQ filmmakers who have made explicitly or implicitly feminist work to submit their shorts to be considered for inclusion in the prize shortlist.
