Queer Brazil SOLD OUT

October 8, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:20 pm

Free – £8
Two figures stand in half sunshine, half shade, against a bare brick and mortar wall outside. They are both topless, with one kissing the top of the other's shoulder. The kissed person has a trimmed beard and shaved head, and looks in a state of ecstasy. The kissing person has brown Afro-textured hair, partially bleached, looking enamoured.

**Please note this event is now sold out – we may be able to release more tickets nearer the screening. CCA Box Office are operating a waiting list for sold out events – please contact them directly to be added to this!**

This screening is a raw look into various Brazilian queer cultures. Despite the challenges faced by queer people in Brazil, this event was curated to primarily celebrate queer joy and community love. TattooBEAT 97 and From time to time, I burn show the powerful connections between queer relationships. And whilst The Uninhabitable Ones takes an experimental approach into documenting queer Black diaspora, Unliveable explores the love and empathy in intersectional communities.

Curated by Indigo Korres.

Tickets are on a pay what you can sliding scale of FREE, £2, £4, £6, or £8. To book, click the button below or call the CCA Box Office on 0141 352 4900.
