Hand-scratched Super 8, neon ink bleeding across film strips, torn paper fragments, found footage, and reclaimed archives brought back to life. Collaged is a celebration of tactile experimental filmmaking. Blurring the boundaries between analogue and digital, memory and imagination, these films embrace hands-on editing, resurfacing found footage, and the creative ways to piece film together. Expect an explosion of colour, texture, and sound as filmmakers transport us to vibrant new worlds. Perfect for anyone ready to drift beyond the polished surfaces of high definition and discover the grainy, acid-washed world of experimental cinema.
The films will be followed by a Q&A between Autojektor (A CURE FOR SCARS), Marguerite Carson (the bird sings with its fingers) and curator Nat Lall.

A short experimental documentary about the Space Race by filmmaker Josipa Anton, LC-39A utilizes NASA archival footage and poetry by Bertolt Brecht to explore the march of history and technological progress as it intersects with ideology and cultural memory.
Lunch Poems (Remix), Dir. J Triangular, 2026, Colombia, Taiwan, NYC, 4min.
In Lunch Poems (Remix), J dusts off VHS tapes recorded in 2017 with their friend and collaborator Miss Expanding Universe (Ashley Yang-Thompson). They remix them into a fiery manifesto and intimate video diary — a collage of poetic art adventures in the streets of New York. The film captures the raw energy of poets claiming the city, blending performance, diary, and queer rebellion. A hypnotic soundtrack of fragments sung by the poet threads the work together, creating a bold, immersive experience.
Objectionable Fruit, Dirs. Hogan Seidel, Gabby Follett, 2026, United States, Canada, Germany, 15 min.
Objectionable Fruit is an experimental documentary examining the Ginkgo tree, a living fossil celebrated for its resilience and unique capacity to change sexes, defying human-imposed binaries. Using the Ginkgo as a metaphor for fluidity and endurance, the film weaves together themes of gender identity, ecological interconnectedness, and the nuanced complexities of queer existence.

Restoration//Cleanses with Fire. The machine reclaims the ugly body. And replaces it with a digestible corpse. A Futile conversion. Pointless violence.

TTT (Tᄐト), Dir. kimura byol lemoine, 2025, Canada, 3 min.
‘In the 100th episode of “Testo du jeudi” (TTT in English), Roman, Korean (Hangeul) and Japanese (Katana) syllabic alphabets feature the word ‘TRANS’ in a sketch by Kě.’
Marked, Dir. Wrik Mead, 2026, Canada, 3 min.
Marked is an experimental film that merges Super 8 and 16mm formats to examine the presence of queer intimacy. At its center are two shirtless men, locked in an embrace, dancing — a quiet yet radical act. Overlaid with hand-inked 16mm film, their bodies become both seen and obscured, highlighted and erased. Through this layered process, Marked reflects on how queer love is shaped, celebrated, and scarred by the society that surrounds it.

Trivakra, Dir. Sofia Angst, 2025, Brazil, 10 min.
Trivakra moves through the memories of a child, crossed by gender biotechnologies that reshape their body and their history. The gushing syringe of a travesti ritual of hormonal transmutation opens a glitch in the matrix of gender and video, where bones and skins are dematerialized into cyberspace.

unbelong, Dir. Pars Loren, 2025, Germany, Türkiye, 9 min.
At its heart, unbelong is a philosophical inquiry posed through visceral experience. The narrated poem questions whether we move through time or time moves through us, capturing the profound stillness of a moment when everything changes. It’s about the act of abandoning a home that abandoned you first, and the sharp blade hidden in the question, “Where are you from?“ unbelong is for anyone who understands that migration is not a simple journey but a rupture, and that for some, movement is not freedom but a painful necessity for survival. It is a work of grief, hope, and transformation.
