Adam, an awkward teen, spends a summer with his older sister, who is part of New York City’s lesbian and trans activist scene. He meets the girl of his dreams but can’t figure out how to tell her he’s not the trans man she thinks he is. Directed by Rhys Ernst, Adam was produced by Howard Gertler and James Schamus and debuted at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. It won awards at Outfest, Oslo Fusion, the Mezipatra Film Festival, and was nominated for a 2020 GLAAD award.

Curated by Nat Lall. Followed by a Q&A with local trans men and trans masculine activists based in Scotland. The discussion will focus on the lack of transmasculine representation, the pressure of being a representative, and cancel culture in activist scenes.

Tickets are on a pay what you can sliding scale of FREE, £2, £4, £6, or £8. To book, click the button below or call the CCA Box Office on 0141 352 4900.
