About Talent: Erica Monde is a filmmaker from Northern California based in Glasgow working as a writer, director and film educator. They run IMPRINT documentary collective, a queer feminist film collective experimenting with embodiment in film, tutor on the Film Medicine course at the University of Edinburgh, hold an MFA in film directing and an MA in medical anthropology, and are an alum of the Locarno Industry Academy. They have been commissioned by Screen Scotland, the Scottish Documentary Institute, BFI Network, and Short Circuit to write and direct short films across both documentary and fiction on themes of gender, body, and environment. They have worked as a producer and story consultant on BAFTA nominated and award winning films that have screened at BFI Flare, Sundance, IDFA and Sarajevo, and are currently developing their first feature film. They are open to emails for collaborations on teaching workshops, lecturing, story consulting, writing and directing.
