Want to know what funding and training opportunities are out there to help get your next project made?

Join the Queer Filmmaker’s Group for a presentation on various short film talent initiatives across Scotland and the UK, including Screen Scotland’s Talent Builder’s Take Three, NFTS’ Sean Connery Talent Lab, Scottish Documentary Institute’s Bridging the Gap, BFI Doc Society’s Made of Truth, and GMAC’s Little Pictures.

Guest speakers from each organisation will present the talent schemes, and participants will have the opportunity to network and ask questions.

Tickets are on a pay what you can sliding scale of FREE, £4, £8, £12, £16, or £20, in order to make SQIFF more accessible to those on a low income. You can choose what you pay based on your circumstances – you won’t be asked for any proof/ID. We just ask that you are honest! Please find the ‘What Should I Pay?’ guidance here.

  • English-BSL interpretation throughout the event. The interpreter for this event is TBC.
  • Live Captioning throughout the event.
  • An induction loop is available at the GFT Box Office. Enhanced Audio (EA) is available in their screening rooms via headset.

If you require access seating please get in touch. Access seating includes: wheelchair spaces, sitting in the front row / in the aisle / at the back.
