Legacies

October 30 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free – £20
A white person and a Black person lie next to each other topless and seemingly motionless. A flower is being laid amongst them in the bottom right corner.

What shapes us? How do the stories of our families, the legacies we inherit, and the struggles of those before us live on in who we become? Legacies brings together films that gently unravel the complex and often tender realities of queer upbringings. These stories speak to the love, pain, hope, and resilience woven through generations, reminding us that identity is not just inherited, but felt deeply and continuously reshaped.

This programme is an invitation to connect with the intimate moments that define us, the memories that haunt us, and the courage it takes to claim our place in a world that often tries to erase us.

Curated by Nat Lall and Huss.
