
Squad Goals

There’s strength in numbers, packs, families, squads or whatever you call them. Squad Goals celebrates chosen families with a vibrant sense of identity and culture. The screening consists of three films documenting some very different squads. These are trans footballers, Brazilian beach vendors and leather gays.
The screening will be followed by an informal Q&A with local trans football team Gender Goals and Glasgow Leather Dykes.

Tickets are on a pay what you can sliding scale of FREE, £4, £8, £12, £16, or £20, in order to make SQIFF more accessible to those on a low income. London’s legendary leather club The Backstreet faces closure after 37 years. Regulars share intimate memories while curators preserve relics of this secret haven’s legacy.
