SUMMARY:Fox and His Friends (Inverness)
DESCRIPTION:In 1970s West Germany\, a young working-class gay man wins the lottery and is taken advantage of by his overbearing bourgeois lover. New German Cinema superstar and queer filmmaker Rainer Werner Fassbinder created his most explicit survey of gay culture in Fox and His Friends and stamped his trademark\, very cynical impression of human relationships onto it. Fassbinder himself plays the suggestible Fox with supporting cast featuring several from the director’s famous entourage including Harry Baer and Kurt Raab. A great chance to see a restored classic and an opportunity for those unfamiliar with the legendary filmmaker’s work to get acquainted. \nACCESS: Level access at entrance of Eden Court with Cinema space on ground floor. Accessible toilets available. Wheelchair spaces for screening must be booked in advance. German language with English subtitles. \nTicket prices vary. To book\, click on the button below or call Eden Court box office on +44 (0)1463 234 234. \n[bra_button text=’Buy Tickets’ url=’https://www.eden-court.co.uk/Online/default.asp?doWork::WScontent::loadArticle=Load&BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::article_id=2E55FACB-2BD9-4038-9A79-BB888D8509C5&BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::context_id=233389F4-F5F9-4738-8849-9F6279A18C59′ target=’_blank’ size=’medium’ style=’rounded’ color=’pink’]
