SUMMARY:Workshop: Filmmaking with Lasse Långström
DESCRIPTION:Lasse Långström’s films – including Folkbildningsterror and Who Will Fuck Daddy?\, both screening in the Festival – are always personal\, political\, and unlike anything else you’re likely to see.  Collaborating with groups of friends\, his work is always inventive and anarchic – and often really funny as well. In this workshop\, Lasse will discuss his newest film\, which he describes as a dirty\, pleasurable\, experimental\, and occult tribute to alternative masculinities\, and a postpatriarchal affirmation of transgender infinite wisdom. Lasse hopes to produce part of this film in Glasgow during and after SQIFF\, so come along to hear more about it\, and perhaps even get a chance to join in with the ongoing work of this brilliant and talented director! \nAges 18+ only. \nACCESS: Level access at entrance of CCA with lift up to second floor for Clubroom. Accessible toilets available. If you would like to attend and require BSL interpretation\, please email info@sqiff.org and we will book this for you. \nThis workshop is FREE with booking in advance recommended.
