Are you a Scotland-based QTIPOC (queer/trans/intersex person of colour) interested in getting into film criticism? We’ve teamed up with our friends at The Skinny, Scotland’s leading monthly cultural magazine, to offer a writer a paid commission to cover SQIFF.
We’re looking for writers who have not received any paid film writing opportunities before. You may do other types of paid writing, have your own film blog, or have written about film for student media, for example, but just not undertaken paid film criticism before. The commission will offer £150 to produce a 500 word feature on films at this year’s festival from your own perspective.
